It was something Dorochette wanted to do. He was a dog chimera, and he could! But Martel got there first. He had been trying, Greed and him, every night, but she slipped in, got Greed, and pretty much got pregnant on try one.

And he couldn't be upset. At least not upfront.

But there was something clearly wrong that day at the Devil's Nest. Martel was showing, and everyone was pleased. Dorochette? Was in his room.

Trying not to be upset. He had to be happy. Damn happy for her. And if he had to fake it until the day he died, then he'd fake it. She was happy, everyone was happy. So, he had to blend in.

[ Greed wasn't the best at this whole "feelings" thing, but he could tell when Dorchette was upset. Try as he might, kid has his heart on his sleeve.

Greed rapts softly on the door before he steps inside. ] 'Ey, puppy. You alright?

[When Dorochette heard that, he quickly moved to look like he was actually doing something in his room and not just being in there upset.

So he was pretending to clean his clothes.] Mr. Greed... I'm fine.

...You should be with Martel, right?

[ Greed shrugs and walks over to Dorchette. ] Eh, she can handle herself. They all want to see her belly, not me.

[doggy]

Yeah, but she's got your kid. [As he moves closer, Dorochette moves a little farther away. Totally not upset at all.]

[ Greed sighs. ] Your time will come, alright? I promise. We didn't even mean to get pregnant.

[doggy]

[Okay, now he's turning away because that is not making him feel better about this.] ...'m not upset.

[ Does Greed notice that? Of course not. He's Greed. ] Heh, she was even mad at me first. [ He shakes his head. ] But that's not the point. Dorchette, you're an easy read; I know you're upset.

I'm not upset! [Except he totally is] She's my friend! I'm happy for her! [And he looks like he's about to break down here. Just rubbing his eyes.] She's happy and I am too!

[ Greed attempts to pull Dorchette into a hug. ] Dorchette... it's alright to be upset. You want a kid, too.

[doggy]

[He clearly can't stay mad at Greed for too much longer. He immediately moves into the hug, placing his face into Greed's body.]

No... I don't want a kid. I want your kid...

[ Greed rubs his back. ] We'll have one soon, puppy. It's just going to take some more work.

[doggy]

[He shakes his head.] I bet I was lied to... and I can't get pregnant at all...

I'm sure you can! It'll just... take longer. Yeah.

[ Way to sound confident, Greed. ]

We've been trying for months, Mr. Greed... maybe we should give up.

[He sounds defeated... also there might be some excitement from outside the room.]

[ Greed ruffles his hair. ] Hey, hey, don't be like that. You wants kids, right? I do too. So let's keep trying.

[ Greed glances over at the door when he hears the commotion. ] Ah... you think you could handle going out?

...Yeah, I do. [He gives a quick nod to that and snuggles his head against Greed's body quickly.]

M...mmhmm. [He could handle it.] Sorry Mr. Greed...

[ Greed rubs Dorchette's back. Just what is he going to do with his puppy? ] You know Martel's gonna get mad if you keep beating yourself up about this, right? She wants you to love the babies, too.

[doggy]

[That seems to do it. He freaks and sits straight up.] I... I'll be good!

[ Greed laughs. ] It's gonna be okay, I promise.

[doggy]

She's going to yell at me later... [Dorochette rubbed his face lightly.]

[ Greed kisses his temple. ] No, she's going to yell at me later. You'll be fine, I promise.

[doggy]

...Ugh, don't remind me. [He sighs and looks up at him.]

[ Greed chuckles. ] Mm, of course. I'd never turn you down.

[doggy]

[That puts a smile on Dorochette's face, and he moves to flop down on the bed.]

...Do you want to make any 'bitch' jokes tonight?

[ Greed follows, kicking off his shoes and tossing off his vest as he follows. ]

Well, since you've brought it up... [ He smacks Dorchette's ass. ] You're my little bitch in heat.
